AnimeCircle is a Discord bot and website for logging anime in community servers. This policy explains what we store and why.

What we collect

Discord user IDs, display names, guild IDs, and guild names for servers that invite the bot.
Anime logs, ratings, reviews, watchlists, and channel IDs you configure.
Anime metadata cached from MyAnimeList via the Jikan API (titles, posters, studios, scores).
If you subscribe, Whop membership IDs needed to apply Pro or Ultimate to a server.
Website analytics if a measurement ID is configured (page views only).

What we do not collect

Message content outside slash-command inputs and log posts the bot creates.
Payment card details — billing is handled by Whop.

Why

To run the diary, ratings, watchlists, seasonal alerts, and paid plan entitlements. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Guild data stays while the bot is in the server. After the bot is removed we mark the guild inactive. Server admins can request export or deletion.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU you can request access, correction, or deletion. Contact the operator via the support channel listed on the site, or ask a server admin to run the bot's export/delete commands where available.

Third parties

Discord, Whop, Jikan/MyAnimeList, and our hosting provider (Coolify on a VPS). Anime metadata originates from MAL via Jikan and is not owned by us.
